Where are you Based?
I'm based in the Adelaide Hills. However I do also photograph events in other areas around South Australia such as Adelaide, Fleurieu Peninsula, and the Barossa Valley.
(Please note that there will be an added travel fee for events located +50km away from home.)
How do I book you, and is there a deposit?
If you would like to book me for an event, please fill out the form on my contact page. I will gather the information, and then email you a quote for my service. If you would then like to proceed with the booking, I ask for a non-refundable deposit of $100 to lock in your booking. Payment can be made via Bank Transfer.
When will I receive my images?
You will receive the edited images within 7 days after the event. If you would like your images sooner, there is an option for a 48 Hour turnaround time, which will of course incur an added fee. After you have paid for my service in full, you will then receive your high resolution final images via Dropbox.
How many images will I receive?
You will receive 50 High Resolution, professionally edited images per hour of event coverage.
Of course, I will still have plenty of unedited RAW images, therefore I do offer an additional 20 Images for $50, per hour of event coverage.
(Example: 2 Hours = 40 Extra Images for $100)
Can I have all the RAW files?
The short answer is No, I do not provide any RAW images.
Let me say that I understand why you would want the RAW images, if I'm capturing hundreds of photos, it can seem odd that you only receive a certain amount, I would like you to understand why this is the case.
As a professional photographer, after capturing the photos from the event, I need to then use my skills to sort and carefully edit the best photos. You may not realize this, but the post-production process takes much longer than the event itself.
When you book me, you are not just paying for someone to take photos, you are paying a professional with years of experience and training for a higher level of quality.
Think about it like this, when you go to a restaurant, you are not paying the chef for a bunch of ingredients, what you are paying for is a well crafted meal. This is why I don't provide all the original RAW images, they are only the ingredients required to create the final product.
Do you only photograph events?
I specialize in event photography as that is what I do best. Having said that, I have previously done photography for a variety of different genres, including: Landscapes, Portraits, Businesses, Architecture and Animals.

Do you do use photoshop to touch up how a person looks?
I've been asked this a few times. Here's the thing, I'll make basic exposure and colour adjustments, but I'm never going to change how a person looks by removing wrinkles or altering body shape.
There is nothing about your appearance that needs to be changed. As a Photographer, I'm capturing the natural and authentic moments, and I'll make sure you look great, just as you are.
What happens if the event is postponed or rescheduled?
In the case of an event needing to be postponed or rescheduled, a new booking and fee will need to be organized.
With all events that I photograph, I will not ask for full payment until after the event, so the full fee won't be required, the deposit however is non refundable. One reason I ask for the small deposit when making the booking is just in case a situation like this happens.
As I already have the deposit, depending on the situation, I will not require another deposit with the next booking.
Will it be an issue if I'm camera shy?
I completely understand, but no need to worry, as an event photographer, I'm just there to capture the raw and candid moments.
You won't be required to pose for me, I'll be honest, you'll probably forget I'm even there. Just relax and have fun.
Is there an option for videography?
As a solo photographer, I only offer photography services at this point in time.
